These Basque instruments are similar to the tabor-pipe but play a dorian scale beginning with a sequence of whole-tone, semi-tone, whole-tone. The two-piece Txirula/Txistu models come in black or rosewood-brown color with ivory color mouthpiece and trim. The -V- series is softer sounding than the -S- series. All two piece models include a vinyl bag, joint-grease, thumbrest and a fingering chart.
